Are you a student enrolled in the Bachelor course in journalism at the Department of Communication and Media at Lund University? Then you are eligible to apply for our grant to conduct fieldworkd in South Asia.

Applicants for this grant must be students within the Bachelor course in journalism at the Department of Communication and Media, Lund University. Most importantly, your fieldwork must take place in either India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, or Bhutan.

Funding will not be granted for travel to a country or region that contravenes the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ current travel recommendations. 

In your application, you must describe your background and plans for the use of the grant. Do you want to collaborate with another student? The grant also allowes for two students to plan and travel together for the same project. If so, this must be stated in detail in your application. 

The grant will cover costs and expenses up to an amount of 25,000 SEK.
