Chakra: A Nordic Journal of South Asian Studies

Between 2004 and 2005, Lund University published the Swedish journal Chakra: tidskrift för indiska religioner with peer-reviewed articles and book reviews on religions in the Indian subcontinent. Founding editors were Associate Prof. Kristina Myrvold and Dr. Katarina Plank. Scroll down to access previous issues.

Chakra: A Nordic Journal of South Asian Studies is the new English-language continuation of the earlier Swedish journal of the same name, but with an expanded scope covering all aspects of South Asian studies. The journal is published once a year and follows the guidelines of the Norsk Senter for Forskningsdata (NSD) with a double-blind peer review process.
