During the release party two talks will be held. The editor of Sydasien, Johanna Sommansson will hold a talk on the history of Sydasien and journalist Johan Mikaelsson will hold a seminar press freedom. Some South Asian food and drinks will be served. Warmly welcome!
More about the collaboration between SASNET and Sydasien
Through a new collaboration between Sydasien and SASNET the magazine once again appears in print, this time biannually. Through SASNET the online version of Sydasien gains more depth as a platform for reports and articles that present new research on South Asia in a clear and accessible manner. Selected articles appear in the printed version of Sydasien. The printed version is sent out to researchers, journalists and old subscribers. It is also be handed out at events in the hope of further spreading knowledge of the region to a broader audience. Do you want to contribute with knowledge about South Asia which nuances the image of the region provided by mainstream media? Would you like to share your research findings with a broader audience?
