Professor Sujata Patel, Indian Institute of Advanced Study, was awarded the prestigious Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship for 2021. Professor Patel will be placed at Umeå University, but will also be an affiliated researcher at SASNET in 2021.
Professor Patel is one of the world's leading sociologists and an expert in social theory and urban sociology. SASNET is looking forward to working with her during her stay in Sweden.
