SASNET welcomes research fellow Chirayu Thakkar

Oxford graduate Thakkar arrived in Lund for a month-long fellowship with SASNET.

Chirayu Thakkar graduated recently from the Modern South Asian Studies program from the University of Oxford. He is currently a graduate student in political science at the Central European University, Hungary. His primary interests are India’s domestic politics and its interaction with the foreign policy. He is currently writing a textbook on Political Hinduism for the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies (OCHS).

Thakkar's latest publication examines the existence of a "China Strategy" in current Indian politics.
