This is a full-time, non-fixed term position with starting date by agreement.
Religious Studies at Karlstad University has an emphasis on internationalisation. In addition to the university’s two so called study points in Cape Town, South Africa and Dharamsala, India, the subject has been active in Varanasi, India for about 30 years.
Special weight is given to the applicant’s expertise in contemporary Islam and research experience in using quantitative and/or qualitative methods. Special weight is also given to the applicant’s command of Swedish or a Scandinavian language as courses are taught in Swedish.
