The successful applicant will be qualified to teach advanced (3rd- and 4th-year) Persian language courses, and will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in their area. The ability to work in another South Asian language (classical or vernacular) is desirable. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or expect to have successfully defended the dissertation before July 1, 2018.
