Podcast: Challenges to Democracy in South Asia

On May 7, SASNET researcher Admir Skodo participated in a panel discussion at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs on the challenges to democracy facing Afghanistan and Sri Lanka, two countries with the experience of internal conflict and civil war. The other panelist was Dr. Vagisha Gunasekara, Executive Director, American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies. Henrik Chetan Aspengren, associate researcher with the UI Asia program and coordinator of the UI-SASNET South Asia Initiative moderated the panel.
