Chakra Journal special issue - call for papers

Chakra

For a special issue of Chakra on research in times of COVID-19, SASNET invites scholars to contribute.

How do we continue to do proper research in area studies in times when we cannot be mobile? Indeed, this period will be challenging in many aspects. Now it is time to be creative. We want your thoughts on this in a special issue of Chakra: A Nordic Journal of South Asian Studies, published by SASNET. We invite articles for the dual focus on this need for studying the social-political, cultural, economic, and psychological cost of COVID-19.

For more info see the call for papers (pdf)

If interested in being a part of the special issue, please send-in your contributions latest by June 15, 2020. We especially encourage SASNET affiliated researchers to contribute to the issue. However, contributions from researchers in the field of South Asian Studies beyond SASNET are also welcome and shall be considered for publication upon review.

Please send-in you contributions to isha [dot] dubey [at] sasnet [dot] lu [dot] se (isha[dot]dubey[at]sasnet[dot]lu[dot]se) . Any queries regarding the special issue can also be directed to the same email address.
