With contributions from, among others, Kenneth Bo Nielsen, Alf Gunvald Nilsen, Henrik Chetan Aspegren, Jörgen Dige Pedersen, Anne Waldrop and Knut Jacobsen, the book offers insights and reflections on the historical and current challenges that the Indian state and people face today and have faced in the past. The book helps us understand the complexity and history of India’s politics, religion and environment.
The editors of the book are former deputy director of SASNET, Lars Eklund, and the former director of SASNET, Staffan Lindberg. They will give a talk about the book and there will also be time for Q&A.
