Norwegian Development Research conference to be held in Oslo

The Norwegian Association for Development Research (NFU) organises its 2012 annual conference on 26–27 November at the Oslo Centre for Interdisciplinary Environmental Research (CIENS). The theme of the conference will be ”Development for a Finite Planet: Grassroots perspectives and responses to climate change, resource extraction and economic development”.
The 2012 conference is jointly organised by the Centre for International Climate and Environmental Research-Oslo (CICERO) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Noragric). It is the main arena for debate and academic interchange among development researchers in Norway. Proposals for panels, as well as paper abstracts, should be sent to the conference coordinator, at nfuconference2012@cicero.uio.no by 31 August 2012. Participation of both junior and senior researchers is encouraged. Registration is due by 1 October 2012. More information.
