The scholarship is valued at £47,625 and will cover the full cost of tuition fees for both years of the programme. The remaining amount will go towards living costs for both the duration of the programme in London and the six-month study abroad period in India, Pakistan or Nepal, including return flights and visa. The deadline for applications to the scholarship is 25 March 2016. Michael Palin was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from SOAS in July 2008.
