Sydasien (South Asia) is the only Swedish online magazine that reports culturally and politically from the region of South Asia. Sydasien has existed on paper since 1977. In 2011, the magazine began its new era as an online magazine. Sydasien is run by the NGO with the same name and is a politically independent magazine. Sydasien publishes and highlights a rare mix of politics, culture and economy through robust reports, bold articles and distinctive news stories from the region.The magazine's primary goal is to share knowledge and news for the South Asia interested audience in Sweden. On sydasien.se students, scientists, journalists and regional experts meet, gather knowledge and share their knowledge. The magazine's office is global, the editorial board and the employees work from different locations in the region.
